We are seeking an experienced Airport Operations Manager to join our team at North Air. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our airport site, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee relations and disciplinary procedures in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal agreements and regulations.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, challenging existing costs and methods to improve cost effectiveness.
  • Regularly report to the Regional Operations Manager on operations and contribute to strategic and operational plans for developing the business.
  • Provide timely advice on expansion or contraction of assets to continue to provide an efficient and secure fuelling operation.
  • Assist in implementing business development plans, including assessing and raising initial pricing models.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to expand the business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years operational experience in a management or supervisory role in Distribution, Aviation, or a related business.
  • Airfield experience and HGV driving experience are desirable.
  • Refuelling experience is also desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Good understanding of budgets, cost control, and pricing methods.
  • Ability to communicate and engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • A wide knowledge of the industry and a high level of commercial awareness.
