Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, food safety, and inventory management. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the coffee shop and providing support in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and beverages
  • Working in our Hospitality department to deliver high-quality service to our clients and customers
  • Leading shifts when assigned by the line manager and taking responsibility for delivering brand standards, including cash management
  • Opening the unit, preparing for the shift, closing the unit, managing orders, and monitoring and delivering high standards of customer service

You will also have the opportunity to train new team members to Barista level using appropriate training material and ensure all drinks are made and served to brand standard. In addition, you will identify any gaps in training and undertake any required training to maintain your skills and knowledge.
