**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our dining services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our chefs in preparing meals, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities, and contributing to the overall smooth operation of our dining services.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist with meal preparation, including plating and serving food to our residents
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities, adhering to health and safety standards
- Contribute to the efficient management of our food stock, monitoring inventory levels and rotating stock as necessary
- Support special events and functions, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will require a basic food hygiene certificate and previous experience working in a kitchen environment. You must also possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable working as part of a team.
