About the Role

We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to work within our Econometrics team at Centrica. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Big Data analysis, econometrics, statistics, and Marketing Mix Modelling to contribute to the development of econometric models for British Gas and Hive products.

Your main responsibilities will include working with the current econometrics team to build and maintain a suite of econometric models, turning outputs into actionable insights that drive business value. Additionally, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting in ad-hoc projects as advised by line managers and other stakeholders;
  • Creating concise, insightful stakeholder communications (presentations, documentation, etc.) based on your analysis;
  • Coordinating multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines aligned with business requirements.


This position offers a salary of approximately £65,000-£90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and provides an excellent opportunity to grow professionally in a dynamic environment.
