Job Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Highways Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence. You will work closely with clients, internal resources, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and provide regular updates.
  2. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure project timelines are met.
  3. Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  4. Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  5. Manage project changes, scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  6. Measure project performance using relevant tools and techniques.
  7. Report and escalate to management as needed, minimizing project risks.
  8. Manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations.
  9. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  10. Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify project requirements.
  11. Develop comprehensive project plans to share with clients and staff members.
  12. Utilize leadership skills to drive project success.
  13. Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document project needs.
  14. Collate and prepare end-of-project invoicing documentation.
Requirements
  1. Signage project management experience is essential.
  2. Experience with Clarity Software (CRM) is an advantage.
  3. Strong time management and organizational skills.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Able to work as part of a team and individually.
  7. Provide and maintain excellent customer service.
