About the Role
A Technical Administrator is required to provide administrative support within the Technical department, liaising with clients and internal teams. This role involves handling telephone enquiries, processing technical specifications, and maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Technical team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Clients and Internal Teams: Liaise with clients, Area Technical Managers, and Site Technicians to ensure seamless communication and resolve queries efficiently.
- Communication: Handle internal and external telephone enquiries, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Document Administration: Administer live project documents and notifications, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Specifications and Reviews: Process technical specifications and review project documents, guaranteeing compliance and quality standards.
- Workload Management: Prioritize workload to meet business demands, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess a professional, friendly, and resourceful approach to interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Computer Literacy: Demonstrate advanced computer skills, including proficiency in software applications and digital tools.
- Motivation and Organisation: Exhibit motivation, drive, and excellent organisational abilities to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Spelling and Grammar: Display good spelling and grammar skills, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
- Tech Mindset: Be technically-minded and approachable, with a diplomatic nature to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
