Telecom Sales Professional

About this position:
As a Telecom Sales Agent at ELITS, you will play a vital role in the sales process, from market initiation and cultivation to building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers. The focus will be on processing new clients, offering a 20-hour weekly part-time schedule.
ELITS client has developed software for fiber network operators. Your sales task will be to sell the software product to fiber operators as they build, operate, and monetize their networks.
You will be part of a global sales team, working independently in Canada or the USA. The work is mainly remote, but you will need to attend and present the company and its products at Tradeshows in the USA.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience in technology sales within the telecom and software sectors.
Additional qualifications include:
· At least 5+ years of technology sales experience
· A driven personality with enthusiasm and tenacity
· Technical knowledge within the telecom sector, preferably fiber and cable
· Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
· Great customer service skills
· Ability to work independently towards set goals
· Comfortable making sales presentations
· Comfortable presenting at trade shows
· A positive attitude and hard-working personality
· A sales degree is preferred
