About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Building Liaison Officer. As the first point of contact for applicants who enquire to foster with us, you will be responsible for building rapport with potential Foster Parents, providing information and screening applicants for suitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service to applicants, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Guide new applicants through the initial screening process, highlighting the benefits of fostering with Fostering People and identifying transferable skills they can bring to the role.
  3. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient application process.
  4. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our fostering services and policies to provide accurate information to applicants.
  5. Contribute to the development of new initiatives and processes to improve the applicant experience.
Requirements
  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of individuals.
  2. Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong track record of providing exceptional service.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
  4. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and files.
  5. Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  6. Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs, including occasional evenings.
