We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our Audit and Risk Committee as a Governor or Co-opted Member. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and compliance of Cambridge Regional College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding college assets
  • Agreeing the internal audit schedule
  • Overseeing the assurance and risk management framework

As a member of the Audit and Risk Committee, you will attend regular meetings, review documents, and participate in training sessions. You will also have opportunities to engage with the college community through various events and activities.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary (£30,000 - £40,000 per annum) and the chance to gain valuable governance experience. You will also have the opportunity to share your skills and expertise with our team and contribute to the growth and development of the college.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in accounting, law, or auditing, as well as a passion for education. A keen interest in making a positive impact on our community and a willingness to learn and develop your skills are essential.

A formal qualification as a governor is not necessary, but a strong understanding of corporate governance principles and practices is desirable. We encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences who can bring fresh perspectives to our organization.
