Job Title: Driver - Handler

The Role
As a Driver - Handler, you'll be responsible for providing professional driving services for all nominated tasks, ensuring customer and company expectations are met or exceeded. You'll work closely with Babcock and RAF stakeholders to achieve this goal.
Day-to-day, you'll undertake driving duties as required by the contract, including:
- fuel bowser driving on shift to support flying operations, daily/weekly and any other maintenance and checks required to ensure vehicle safety and compliance to support flying operations,
- control all vehicle-related administration within Babcock guidelines, and ensure all personal licenses, medicals, and competencies are maintained.
- assist in the ground movement of aircraft and be a key part in our flight-line operations.
- prepare aircraft for upcoming flying, conduct see-in and see-off procedures, and be authorized to carry out fuel and oil replenishment on the aircraft.
This role is full-time and based onsite at RAF Benson.
Essential Experience
Ability to work flexibly as part of a team, excellent communication skills, good analytical/problem-solving skills, awareness of general health and safety, and working knowledge of Tacho graphs.
Qualifications
PSV, LGV, & ADR qualified (candidates who do not hold all licenses will still be considered), clean driving license, working knowledge of transport and driver legal requirements, and meet eye color vision of CP2/CP3 for airfield airside operations.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS Clearance.
