About the Job

  • Deliver exceptional patient care and service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Support the practice team in achieving excellent patient outcomes, working collaboratively to provide seamless care.
  • Manage the practice's administrative tasks, including managing appointments, maintaining patient records, and processing financial transactions.

Key Tasks

  • Coordinate the practice's appointment system, ensuring timely communication between patients, healthcare professionals, and other teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, handling confidential documents with care.
  • Provide clerical support to healthcare professionals, assisting with their work and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in a similar role or equivalent administration experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
  • Basic computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or EMIS software.
  • A good standard of numeracy and literacy, with the ability to manage financial transactions accurately.
