Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at phs Ireland. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing senior commercial and financial advice, analysis, and support to our Managing Director and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive and meaningful financial analysis and advice on operational issues and commercial decision-making.
  • Support the Managing Director in the development of the business within the framework of the phs Ireland business plan.
  • Prepare the Division's monthly trading reviews and board reports, and present meaningful results to senior leaders.
  • Coordinate the Division's budget and forecasting processes, providing meaningful analysis and commentary to the phs Ireland Leadership Team and Group Finance department.
  • Ensure a robust financial control infrastructure exists, and financial systems and reporting operate to the highest standards.
  • Work with the MD, Group Pricing Team, and leaders to develop pricing policies that deliver new business on acceptable commercial terms.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial processing, and prepare relevant information to ensure all employees are properly paid.

Requirements:

  • A commercially astute, proactive self-starter, based in or near Dublin.
  • A qualified accountant with a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
  • Experience of sustaining profitability, quality, and service standards using key performance indicators and ratios.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to contribute towards the development of strategy and policy.
  • Broad financial management experience in a business-to-business service organisation.
