Job Title: Mental Health Support Assistant for Children

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Support Assistant for Children. As a key member of our academic institution, Academics Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people aged 8 to 18 with significant developmental trauma, emotional needs, and behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide emotional support and guidance to children with complex needs
* Collaborate with therapists and psychologists to develop and implement individualized support plans
* Assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support

Requirements:

* Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field
* Experience working with children with emotional and behavioural challenges
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
