Lead Our Operations Team

Ultimate Banking is seeking a seasoned leader to head our Operations team. As a key member of our Executive Committee, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of our Savings, Mortgage Operations, Underwriting, and Arrears functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a clear operational change roadmap aligned with our business strategy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our strategy and financial plan.
  • Shape and manage our forward change agenda for operations, in line with our strategy and in collaboration with our transformation team.
  • Provide oversight of all day-to-day operations, including ad hoc system and project work.
  • Ensure operational resilience, including incident management, resolution, and implementation, disaster recovery, business continuity management, and IT/CMT.
Requirements
  • Previous leadership experience of a department.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of mortgage underwriting.
  • Experience of scale change management and process transformation projects.

The head office is based in Buckinghamshire, and we require this role holder to be office-based at least 3 days a week. Due to the location of the head office, you will need to have your own transport as it is not easily accessible via public transport.
