About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Casual Chef to join our team at Aramark. As a Casual Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking meals for our clients, ensuring high-quality food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, adhering to strict food safety and quality standards.
  • Support with food orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of ingredients.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure all food is compliant with allergen regulations.
  • Load and unload food stores, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Liaise with our team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Follow recipe cards to prepare, cook, and serve a range of meals, meeting our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Complete daily paperwork to cover due diligence, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Assist with deliveries and stock checks, placing orders as needed.
  • Place food orders and maintain kitchen records, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Share responsibility with the Chef Manager/Catering Manager for checking, probing, and signing all food deliveries.
  • Monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Assist in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace.
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items served, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery.
Requirements
  • Relevant culinary qualification, such as a diploma or degree in culinary arts.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Allergen awareness and knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Excellent team player and communicator, with a confident and positive attitude.
  • BPPS (Basic Personal Protective Equipment) required.
  • Driving license with no more than 6 points.
