About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Chef to join our team at our Central Production Kitchen in Edinburgh. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering a range of menus, from deli-style retail offers to high-end fine dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute menus that showcase fresh, made-from-scratch cooking and emphasize quality, seasonality, provenance, and flavor.
  • Work collaboratively with our Head Chef and culinary development team to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Support the Kitchen Manager and wider team in ensuring Health and Safety legislation is carried out correctly and all paperwork is recorded as required.
  • Participate in menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume catering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
