About the Role:
The Mental Health Advisor will be a key member of the Student Welfare and Guidance team at Newham Sixth Form College Careers. This exciting new position will focus on providing mental health support to students, identifying needs and risks, and referring students to appropriate interventions and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with other Student Services teams to provide comprehensive support to students
- Develop and implement mental health awareness-raising initiatives for students and staff
- Collaborate with key members of staff to plan and organize mental health support and behavior management
- Provide guidance and support to students on mental health-related issues
