Information Security Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Assurance Officer to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a key member of our Government and Defence contract, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our IT security policies and procedures are aligned with customer requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and standards for information security in accordance with ISO 27001 and customer security frameworks.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on information security issues, including input into Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery strategies and security incident management.
  • Lead internal and external information security audits and reviews, working closely with external auditors to address any findings.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of our vulnerability management programme, taking action based on the threat landscape, customer requirements, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in information security, preferably with a certified ISO 27001 implementation or lead auditor.
  • A strong understanding of HMG information, physical, and personnel security requirements, as well as experience with Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (ISO 22301).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of the risk management lifecycle and the ability to gain HMG SC clearance.
