About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Development Accountant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking Housing Association, driving growth and success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the reconciliation of development costs, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Contribute to cash flow preparation, providing vital financial insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Produce high-quality monthly management accounts, enhancing financial oversight and control.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement are core components of this role.

A qualified accountant with housing association experience is highly desirable. Strong excel and IT skills, along with experience in management accounting and budgeting, are fundamental requirements. The successful candidate will be adaptable, able to prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
