Employment Specialists Ltd is seeking a seasoned Risk Assessment Expert to lead our Underwriting team in East Anglia. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will drive business growth and profitability by assessing and underwriting commercial risks.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial insurance principles, a minimum of 2 years' experience in Underwriting (Commercial Insurance, Property/Casualty), and excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
Main responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and underwriting a range of commercial risks
- Negotiating terms with brokers to win and retain business
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with Brokers
- Analysing market trends to ensure competitive and profitable underwriting decisions
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000-£75,000 per annum, private Medical cover, an excellent Company pension, and Life Assurance.
