As a key partner within the Link Group since 2009, Horizon manages around 900 homes across 11 local authority areas in Scotland. The RoleWe are seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead Horizon Housing Association in achieving its strategic aims. The CEO will be responsible for driving Horizon's commitment to accessible housing and inclusive living, maintaining financial viability, and ensuring legal and governance standards are met. As an ambassador for Horizon, you will influence national policy, collaborate with key stakeholders, and promote a modern, customer-focused housing service. This role reports to both the Horizon Board and the Link Group Director of Communities, providing an exciting opportunity for leadership in a values-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive Horizon's mission and vision
- Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services and housing solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and partners
- Ensure financial sustainability and viability of Horizon's operations
- Advocate for accessible housing and inclusive living at a national level
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in housing or a related field
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Deep understanding of accessible housing and inclusive living, with a commitment to promoting equality and social justice
