The Chief Executive Officer Role

We are seeking an inspiring Chief Executive Officer to lead FWB in achieving its strategic aims. The CEO will be responsible for driving FWB's commitment to accessible housing and inclusive living, maintaining financial viability, and ensuring legal and governance standards are met. As an ambassador for FWB, you will influence national policy, collaborate with key stakeholders, and promote a modern, customer-focused housing service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive FWB's strategic direction and vision
  • Lead the development and implementation of business plans and policies
  • Ensure financial sustainability and viability
  • Maintain high standards of governance and compliance
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and partners

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a passionate, innovative leader with a track record of successful management and collaboration. While experience in social housing is beneficial, we welcome applications from leaders across various sectors who are committed to equalities and accessible housing.

  • Deep understanding of how housing impacts communities, particularly in supporting disabled and older people
