About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a Commercial Sales Executive, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships with key clients in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Aerospace OEMs
  • Act as the internal 'Voice of the Customer' for all customer and commercial related issues
  • Manage, quote, and close customer enquiries strictly in line with company policy
  • Regularly report KPIs, track to budget and forecasts, and other commercial information as required
  • Represent the company at customer review meetings and coordinate resultant actions across the organisation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years prior account management experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers at an executive level
  • Negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Advanced computer skills with experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite of products, particularly Excel
  • Confident with the ability to lead
