The Role

We are seeking an inspiring Executive Director to lead Horizon Housing Association in achieving its strategic aims. The Executive Director will be responsible for driving Horizon's commitment to accessible housing and inclusive living, maintaining financial viability, and ensuring legal and governance standards are met. As an ambassador for Horizon, you will influence national policy, collaborate with key stakeholders, and promote a modern, customer-focused housing service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve Horizon's mission and vision
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, government agencies, and community groups
  • Ensure financial sustainability and viability of Horizon's operations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Person Specification

We are looking for a passionate, innovative leader with a track record of successful management and collaboration. While experience in social housing is beneficial, we welcome applications from leaders across various sectors who are committed to equalities and accessible housing. You will possess:

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • The ability to inspire teams and build productive relationships
