Clinical Services Director

About the Role
Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Services Director to lead our pharmacy department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the management and daily running of the pharmacy department, ensuring the safe and effective provision of medicine management services to all patients, staff, consultants, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical direction and leadership for all pharmacy staff in the hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Manage the delivery of care as lead on clinical safety, ensuring safe provision of staffing that meets activity by workforce planning, monthly rostering, and daily review.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy services, including the development of policies and procedures, and the management of budgets and resources.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services and the achievement of organizational goals.
Requirements
- Degree in Pharmacy (M Pharm or B Pharm or BSc (Pharmacy)) registered as a pharmacist on the General Pharmaceutical Council register or a registered pharmacy technician on the General Pharmaceutical Council technicians register.
- Knowledge of General Pharmaceutical Council Codes of Professional Conduct, Ethics, and Performance and their implications for practice.
- Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
