Job Title: Head of Talent and Leadership Development

Weir is seeking a highly experienced and strategic talent and leadership development professional to join our Centre of Expertise team as Head of Talent and Leadership Development. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing talent and leadership development programs that drive business outcomes and support the delivery of Weir's strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a global talent and leadership development strategy aligned with Weir's business objectives.
  • Partner with HR teams and business leaders to identify critical talent needs, assess skill gaps, and implement effective talent strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Design and deliver leadership development programs tailored to various levels of leadership within the organization.
  • Develop and maintain best practice talent frameworks, tools, and resources.
  • Ensure active succession plans are in place for key roles and provide coaching and mentoring to leaders to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of talent and leadership development programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Psychology.
  • Strategic thought leader in talent development, leadership development, and organizational development with a proven track record of delivering business outcomes.
  • Previous experience in a Centre of Expertise for a global business, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and talent management best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
