Nursery Room Leader Job Opportunity

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join our team. As a key member of our nursery leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational and care experience for our children.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management team in the daily running of the nursery, ensuring a high-quality, balanced provision of leading practice education and care is delivered at all times. This includes adhering to Banana Moon policies and procedures, meeting legislative requirements, and following the education curriculum to achieve the highest possible inspection grading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management team in the daily running of the nursery
  • Ensure a high-quality, balanced provision of leading practice education and care is delivered at all times
  • Adhere to Banana Moon policies and procedures
  • Meet legislative requirements and follow the education curriculum
  • Act as a named co-ordinator relevant to their skills or training as designated by the Nursery Manager

Requirements:

  • A full and relevant level 3 qualification
  • PVG enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector
  • Registration with SSSC
  • One year's post-qualifying experience
