Nursery Room Leader Job Opportunity

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join our team. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to our children.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management team in the daily running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for our children and staff. You will be responsible for leading your team in delivering a high-quality, balanced provision of education and care, adhering to Banana Moon policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management team in the daily running of the nursery
  • Lead your team in delivering a high-quality, balanced provision of education and care
  • Ensure a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for our children and staff
  • Adhere to Banana Moon policies and procedures
  • Support the training, support, mentoring, role modelling, and supervision of staff
  • Act as a named co-ordinator relevant to your skills or training

Requirements:

  • A full and relevant level 3 qualification
  • PVG enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector
  • Registration with SSSC
  • One year's post-qualifying experience
