About the Job
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our pharmacy team at Nevill Hall Hospital as a Pharmacy Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in all areas of pharmacy and be part of a dynamic team working within the pharmacy stores, dispensary, and wards.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out accurate dispensing and distribution of pharmaceuticals to patients, wards, departments, hospitals, and clinics served by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
- Distribute stock pharmaceuticals, receive new stock, assemble emergency kits, prepare pharmaceuticals, and supply basic non-pharmaceutical information to clients.
- Use pharmacy and other computer systems for tasks in an efficient manner.
- Assist in delivering a near-patient medicines management service to inpatients on ABUHB hospital sites.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer flexible working, promote a healthy work-life balance, provide occupational health support, and an ambitious plan for a Wellbeing Centre of Excellence.
