Job Title: Asset Management Investment Risk - Alternatives Vice President

JPMorgan Chase is at the forefront of financial innovation, and as a key member of our Risk Management team, you will play a vital role in shaping the firm's future. Your expertise will help us navigate complex investment risks, ensuring that our business grows responsibly and sustainably.

This exciting opportunity involves monitoring and reporting on investment risks across various asset classes, including Alternative Investment Portfolios. You will conduct thorough stress and scenario analyses, manage thresholds, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Stress testing and scenario analysis with threshold management
  • Fund liquidity risk assessment and management
  • Leverage and Total Exposure analysis
  • Investigation and escalation of limit/threshold excesses

You will also analyze portfolio-specific risks across hedge fund portfolios, covering investment and liquidity risks. Additionally, you will ensure that procedures and Risk Management Processes are followed, drive innovation in portfolio risk oversight, and partner with the AM Risk Innovation Lead to challenge the status quo.

Key Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or related field
* Extensive experience in Asset Management Risk Management
* Strong industry knowledge and understanding of European Fund regulations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to build and manage a diverse, high-performing team
* Collaborative mindset and ability to work with stakeholders across the organization
* High degree of initiative and self-direction, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
