Senior SEO Executive

At Frasers Group, we're rethinking retail through digital innovation and unique store experiences. As a leader in the industry, we're elevating the retail experience for our consumers through our collection of established brands, including Sports Direct, FLANNELS, USC, Frasers, and GAME.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and assist the SEO Site Manager with the day-to-day management and optimization of the SEO channel.
- Work closely with the wider digital marketing team to build and optimize our organic performance for Frasers Group sports websites.
- Make and implement recommendations to improve SEO channel performance and rankings.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, internal linking, and other factors to improve SEO rankings for target keywords.
- Collaborate with the content writer to drive SEO in content creation, optimizing copy on category pages and landing pages, as well as producing FAQ pages and buying guides.
- Use tools like Botify and ScreamingFrog to identify issues that can cause a negative impact in SERP and perform in-depth technical SEO audits of websites.
- Assist with link building strategies and perform backlink link audits.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role (in-house or agency).
- Experience with keyword research and strategy, daily optimization, and in-depth analysis.
- Ability to confidently report on key performance metrics to managers.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and respond to high-priority requests.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects.
- Genuine passion for SEO and online marketing.
- Experience with content marketing and social campaigns.
- Continuously and proactively improves the quality of service delivered.
- Willingly takes the initiative and suggests new approaches.
- Respects individual views and positively contributes to a learning environment in which individuals are supported and encouraged to excel.

What's Next?
- Our Recruitment Team will review applications, and all candidates will receive a response, whether successful or unsuccessful.
- Shortlisted applicants may be asked to confirm a few key details before being booked in for a first-stage interview with the Recruiter, which will be behaviorally focused and centered around how you align with our Culture and Values.
- If successful, we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team, which will be more technically focused and could include a presentation/task to see your skills in action.
