Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our employment law team, you will provide expert advice and support to our clients on a wide range of employment law and employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising clients on employment law and HR matters, including obligations under the Equality Act 2010, long-term sickness cases, and conduct and disciplinary cases.
  • Managing a range of clients' projects and dealing with their day-to-day employment matters.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of modern working practices and understanding the pressures busy managers experience.
  • Reviewing and assisting with drafting documentation, including settlement agreements, policies, and procedures.
  • Liaising with and supporting other members of the team.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in employment law and/or employee relations, advising and supporting businesses.
  • Solid technical competence and knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
  • The confidence to credibly advise senior managers within large organisations.
  • An ability to offer commercially minded service, as well as operationally aware legal advice.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, to ensure that solutions comply with the law, meet business needs, promote effective management, and enhance employee relations.
  • Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Organisational skills to manage your own caseload.
  • The right to work in the UK and a full driving licence.
