Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the delivery of the Pharmacy Foundation Training Programme in the South West region. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the programme, ensuring high-quality training for trainee pharmacists.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will work closely with the Head of School and Regional Head of Pharmacy to oversee the delivery and quality management of foundation training for pharmacists within the region. This will involve collaborating with stakeholders, including universities, employers, and regulatory bodies.

The successful candidate will be part of a team that is committed to achieving this purpose by enabling local systems and providers to improve the health of their people and patients, making the NHS a great place to work, and working collaboratively to ensure the healthcare workforce has the right knowledge, skills, values, and behaviours.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. They will also possess excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and multi-task a variety of demands on their time.
Person Specification
The post holder will be a registered pharmacist with the GPhC and will have a clear understanding and evidence of involvement in delivery and management of healthcare education and training. They will also have strong leadership skills and the ability to 'sell' the vision.
