About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensary pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage stock levels, coordinate orders, and ensure everything is running smoothly.
  • Liaise with the Pharmacy Store and keep pharmacists and ward staff informed.
  • Mentor and guide pharmacy technicians, pre-registration trainees, and pharmacy assistants.
  • Work closely with the Principal Technician to identify areas for improvement and implement new procedures.
  • Review outstanding tasks, update stock records, and prepare the pharmacy for the next day.

Requirements
  • BTEC / NVQ Level 3 Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with GPhC.
  • Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) Certificate.
  • Post qualification hospital experience.
