Community Engagement Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support our wellbeing walks programme in the Lancashire area.
Job Type: Volunteer
Salary: £8.91 - £10.20 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
The ideal candidate will be a competent walker, enthusiastic about promoting health and wellbeing in their community.
The role involves leading or supporting wellbeing walks, completing registers, and ensuring participants adhere to health and safety guidelines.
A key aspect of this position is providing excellent customer service, being reliable and trustworthy, and having a keen interest in walking and its benefits.
- To lead or assist wellbeing walks in various locations
- To complete participant registers at every walk
- To ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- To participate in relevant training for wellbeing walks leaders/back markers
Requirements:
- Able to commit to regular volunteering sessions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen interest in promoting health and wellbeing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
