Job Title: Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Purely Recruitment Solutions. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing business plans and forecasts, and producing high-quality financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients with lead accounting and finance input
  • Prepare business plans and forecasts using Excel and/or dedicated forecasting software
  • Produce high-quality financial reports, including annual statutory accounts, confirmation statements, and Research & Development tax claims
  • Conduct pre-year end checks with clients to identify risks and opportunities
  • Identify tax-efficient planning opportunities for clients and deliver through to completion
  • Produce monthly management information, tailored to clients' requirements
  • Attend client board meetings to present, review financial performance, and set strategic goals
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts periodically and maintain clear supporting schedules
  • Assist clients with training and consultancy advice
  • Identify potential opportunities for providing additional services to existing clients and services to new clients
  • Oversee Assistant Management Accountants with their responsibilities, prioritizing workload, and supporting their personal development plans
Requirements:
  • Experience as a qualified Accountant in industry and/or practice
  • Experience in preparing management and year-end statutory accounts and liaising with clients on the results
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
