Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner to lead our paediatric primary care streaming service based at Alder Hey Children's Hospital. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to children and young people while providing strategic leadership and guidance to APCPs and junior nursing staff.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced APNP to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people. You will have the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders, including Higher Education Institutes, to develop and implement innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and strategic development within urgent care for both trainee and qualified APCPs.
  • Support educational supervisors and engage directly with Higher Education Institutes for the delivery of academic modules.
  • Represent PC24 at MDT meetings with all key stakeholders to drive improvement and innovation.
  • Deliver an approved advanced practice curriculum for trainee practitioners.
  • Contribute to organisational-wide strategies surrounding performance and improvement.
