About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires resilience, patience, and a strong sense of duty. As a Prison Custody Officer, you'll work closely with prisoners, colleagues, and other stakeholders to maintain order and security within our facilities. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through comprehensive training and progression opportunities.

Requirements
  • Good listener, sensitive, and able to maintain professionalism
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to setting high standards
  • Conducts themselves in a respectful and fair manner
  • High attention to detail and good observation tactics
  • Good interpersonal skills, including assertiveness and self-motivation
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team, delivering high-quality work without constant supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
