Job Title: Business Support Lead

MP Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Business Support Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our Business Support team to deliver high-quality proactive support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Business Support team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Delegate tasks effectively across the team to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and optimize Business Support processes and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee facilities and office management to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Manage associate onboarding and administration to ensure a smooth transition for new team members.
  • Proactively manage and maintain business infrastructure, including telecoms, to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate and manage external support specialists and advisors to provide expert guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, Cyber Security, and health and safety regulations across the business.
  • Undertake induction and new starter requirements, including paperwork and administration.
  • Support the creation, development, and maintenance of professional proposals, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide support for project and online portal submissions.
  • Coordinate company events and conferences to promote team building and collaboration.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the offsite team, handling internal calls, assessing priorities, and re-directing enquiries and requests as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an office management or business support lead role.
  • Excellent team leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and computer software.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Personable and able to work well in a small team, with a focus on building relationships.
  • An eye for design style and high-quality delivery.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and manage personal workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Competence in booking flights and accommodation.
  • Familiarity with office equipment, including printers.
