Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Engineer to join our team, working closely with our automotive clientele. This contract position requires direct automotive work experience and an inside IR35 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Debugging and troubleshooting high-voltage systems and power electronics circuits.
  • Diagnosing and analyzing battery charge systems, including custom data analysis.
  • Reporting custom circuit data to team members and management.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle engineering challenges.
  • Excellent mathematical and computational skills to develop accurate models and simulations.
  • Proficiency in using design and analysis software specific to power electronics applications.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to design and troubleshooting.
  • Resilient and enthusiastic individual who responds constructively to new ideas and inputs.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with systems engineering process and differing levels of requirements.
  • Self-starter with the ability to drive workload and communicate with different levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Vector software (CANoe and CANape) for logging CAN data and analyzing signals.
  • Debugging and commissioning expertise, as well as fault finding and documentation skills.
  • Experience with full integration of all electrical content of REE's platforms and vehicles.
