About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at French Selection. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and merchants across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and merchants to maximize business opportunities
  • Manage and grow existing accounts to increase revenue and market share
  • Identify and investigate new business opportunities in the region
  • Self-manage daily activities and appointments to ensure effective time management
  • Maintain a high level of market awareness to stay ahead of competitors
  • Promote products and attend exhibitions and seminars to build brand awareness
  • Act as a technical expert for customer queries and provide expert advice
  • Travel extensively across Europe to support trade shows and customer meetings
  • Train sales staff at distribution outlets and maintain stock levels
  • Collaborate with head office, catalogue managers, and marketing managers to ensure alignment and consistency
  • Update or provide new point-of-sale materials to support sales efforts
  • Educate clients and building specifiers about products to increase sales
Requirements
  • Fluent in German to business level (written and spoken)
  • Additional fluency in French is advantageous
  • Proven track record in sales and account management
  • Previous experience working with technical products with various applications
  • Customer-focused attitude and great personality
  • Ability to travel extensively across Europe
  • Reporting to the Divisional Director, providing regular intelligence reports
