Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team at the West Brom. The successful candidate will provide generalist advice and guidance to managers and colleagues on a range of issues relating to employment law, employee relations, and HR policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR issues to support managers in delivering their key strategic objectives.
  • Coach and develop managers on all aspects of employee relations matters.
  • Advise and assist managers with investigations and attend disciplinary and grievance hearings.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers in dealing with flexible working applications and absence management.
  • Oversee the management of maternity/paternity/parental leave with HR Admin.
  • Maintain effective employee relations with the recognised Trade Union.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working within a HR function.
  • A relevant CIPD qualification (ideally level 5).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
  • Comprehensive experience of redundancies, consultations, and negotiations.
