Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Scientist I to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting investigations on various technical projects, collaborating with colleagues to find effective solutions to technical issues, and managing your own work within project boundaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations on various technical projects, including raw material qualification and Incidents/CAPAs, to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues from different departments to find effective solutions to technical issues and improve overall process efficiency.
  • Project Management: Plan and manage your own work within project boundaries, with guidance from Senior Scientists and Supervisor, to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Communication: Communicate findings from technical investigations, interpret unexpected results, and propose further actions to resolve issues.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports to support the resolution of Incidents/Change Control.
Requirements
  • Education: Hold a degree or equivalent in a microbiological (or related) subject.
  • Experience: 0-2 years' experience working in a microbiology laboratory.
  • Skills: Ability to handle class 2 (and 3, depending on vaccination status) microorganisms and hazardous chemicals in a safe manner, according to the department and company safety rules.
