We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Boston Hale. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a customer-focused professional procurement service to stakeholders.

About the Role

The Procurement Manager will advise and provide guidance on complex procurement matters, creating tender and other procurement specifications including frameworks. They will also lead cross-functional teams in targeted reviews to improve procurement practices and develop mechanisms to monitor and improve the performance of suppliers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a customer-focused professional procurement service to stakeholders
  • Advise and provide guidance on complex procurement matters
  • Create tender and other procurement specifications including frameworks
  • Lead cross-functional teams in targeted reviews to improve procurement practices
  • Develop mechanisms to monitor and improve the performance of suppliers
  • Ensure Terms and Conditions are completed and signed
  • Monitor performance of existing contracts
  • Complete statutory returns
  • Act as main point of contact for procurement processes and systems
  • Arrange and attend meetings with internal and external customers on behalf of the function
  • MCIPS qualified or working towards it
  • Previous experience of tendering process, including public sector requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of UK Public Sector procurement legislation and framework

Salary and Benefits

Boston Hale offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
