About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Freight Forwarding and Customer Liaison Specialist to join our team at ALS Recruiting Ltd. As an integral part of our air and ocean export operations, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Booking Management: You will manage bookings from start to finish for allocated customers, ensuring timely completion and resolution of any issues that may arise.
  • Customer Relationship Development: Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through consistent high-quality service, proactive communication, and issue resolution.
  • Shipment Coordination: Coordinate with overseas offices to issue booking instructions, process export bookings, and ensure correct on-time billing and accruals.
Requirements:
  • Strong Background in Air Freight Forwarding: A minimum of [30-40k] salary is expected for this role, plus an annual bonus. This position also comes with 25 days' holiday + bank holidays.
  • Customer Service Ethic: Instinctive customer service ethic, results-driven, and detail-oriented with good written and spoken English skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with customers, and prioritize tasks under pressure.
