Language Empire is seeking a skilled interpreter to work with various organizations in the UK. As a freelance interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, and Probation services.
As an interpreter, you will be responsible for listening to, understanding, and reproducing speech in the target language with 100% accuracy. You will also be required to check the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence and liaise between the service user and service provider.
Requirements for the position include:
- Fluent in English and another language
- All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- You must be aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
