About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Receptionist to support our team in Dukinfield area. This full-time, permanent position offers a great opportunity to apply your financial and administrative expertise, particularly in the automotive sector.

The successful candidate will perform a range of financial and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. As the first point of contact, you will provide a warm and professional welcome to customers and visitors while maintaining accurate records and performing various administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and reconcile financial statements.
  • Support payroll administration and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports for management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and reception duties, answering phone calls and handling general inquiries.
  • Contribute to general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and office organization.

We expect:

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, with knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional phone manner.
  • Previous reception or office experience in a fast-paced environment (automotive experience is a bonus but not essential).
