We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team at Attenborough Surgery. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and direct patients as they arrive for appointments, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
- Deal with telephone requests and enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process repeat prescription requests and make appointments for practice patients with the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Process requests for home visits and take and deliver messages as required.
- Update patient computer records and maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Inform patients of test and investigation results and provide general administrative support to the practice team.
- GCSEs in Maths and English.
- Customer Service experience.
- Call centre experience.
- General computer skills.
