About the Role

socialed is a fast-growing social and video production agency based in London, crafting content and social strategies for ambitious brands in the lifestyle and luxury space. We are seeking a talented Videographer & Editor to join our growing content team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage pre-production for ongoing client projects, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Develop creative strategies and ideation for current and future clients, presenting innovative concepts through strategy decks, director treatments, and pitch proposals.
  • Shoot social-first content for a range of lifestyle, FMCG, and luxury brands, capturing engaging and authentic moments.
  • Edit, grade, and design sound for a variety of client and own-brand projects, delivering exceptional visual and auditory experiences.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality output, and client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in video production, including planning, shooting, and editing video content.
  • Extensive knowledge of video editing software, preferably DaVinci Resolve.
  • 2D motion design expertise is essential, with 3D motion design skills a significant advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the capacity to interact with clients and team members effectively and professionally.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
  • Experience in short-form and social-first video editing is crucial.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and trends is essential.
  • Bonus points for additional language skills, particularly German.
About You

We're looking for an ambitious, confident, and eager-to-learn individual who is passionate about video production and social media. If you're a creative problem-solver with excellent editing skills and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you. We're open to new graduates or those seeking professional experience in lieu of a formal degree.

Salary range: £26-32k per annum. We're excited to welcome the right candidate to our team and look forward to reviewing your application.
