At Born Social, we're a full-service social media agency designed for the new era of advertising. For the last 10 years, we've helped brands navigate and harness the chaos of social media, bringing method to the madness. From household names like Guinness, Primark, and Ford to the next generation of big brands like Nando's, Peloton, and Fever-Tree.

Join our Design & Studio department and collaborate on creating engaging, social-first video and visual content. You live and breathe social media and have a knack for crafting attention-grabbing content designed for social platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Editing & Content Creation: The editing and sometimes shooting of content that translates client objectives into effective, inspiring, and entertaining social-first video/visual content that is delivered to deadlines and created with the aim of achieving measurable results for our clients, in-line with specific brand guidelines.
  2. Collaboration: Working closely with the Client Services, Creative, Social Media Management, Design, and Production teams to formulate stylised shoots to deliver against client briefs that support the brand strategy and creative ideation.
  3. Organisation & Maintenance: As part of the role, you will be responsible for the organisation and maintenance of camera inventory and equipment as well as the storage and organisation of captured content and data into manageable and referenceable formats.
  4. Time-Management: Working with the producers and account teams on organising and scheduling of various video shoots and managing your allocated time effectively.
Requirements:
  • You're a talented, self-shooting Editor and Videographer with 2-4 years of experience (agency, in-house, or freelance) and have experience filming both in a studio and on location.
  • You have a passion for storytelling and have the ability to craft a compelling and relevant narrative through a visual medium by playing a key role in footage selection and contributing your creative vision.
  • You have an excellent technical knowledge of using professional cameras and industry equipment for both shooting video for Hi-Fi video productions, as well as skill and experience in filming with Smart Devices/Phones to capture Lo-Fi content.
  • You are fluent in Premiere Pro and general video editing software, are confident in After Effects, and are skilled at colour-grading.
